Today, the lovely Thia demonstrates how to wear a shorter skirt in the fall:
The number one reason this works is the riding boots. Since they’re tall, they cover up more of the leg, keeping Thia a little warmer. The leather material also adds an element of luxuriousness, and is tied in on the jacket, as well.
We paired the skirt with an oxblood shirt, which ensured that the color palette was very “fall.” (If you have a more summery skirt that you want to wear in the fall, just make sure to pair it with muted colors– dark grays are usually a safe bet.)
The look was elevated by the addition of some fun mixed-media jewelry, and the overall outcome was very “Fall Chic.” Work it, girl!
